HMC in Houston, Texas specializes in providing UL explosion-proof (also known as NEMA 7, ATEX, IEC Ex) and stainless steel (also known as UL Type 4x, NEMA 4X) panels for hazardous locations and corrosive environments. Our product solutions include panel with main breakers, main lug only (MLO), and fusible disconnects. Panels can be made according to UL standards and the National Electric Code (NEC), or they can be made to IEC standards. HMC is also capable of building per UL 508a (Category NITX), but per Category NNNY which is hazardous-locations for UL Class I Division I & II. We can build ATEX solutions for CE Marking and 5 KV IEC Ex Type Z purge solutions.
Here at HMC, we have great relationships with our vendors. We have special price agreements in place with the following vendors: ABB, Allen-Bradley, Eaton Cutler-Hammer, GE, Sprecher & Shuh, Square D, and Siemens. We have provided solutions using Hoffman, Rittal, Adalet, Crouse-Hinds, and Appleton, among others. We can build panels competitively using products from the industry leaders!

Parts are always stored securely. Parts that are ready to be used during construction are clearly marked and stored in an area designated only for the related project.

facility allows us to efficiently handle large and small projects.
Our team of experienced craftsmen will
assemble to our design specifications or yours. Before any panel
leaves our facility it is point to point tested and can be FAT
function tested using our custom test panels. This extra effort
reduces field wiring and start-up time. Additionally, it adds
an extra layer of safety to everyone involved in the
process.
Our staff consist of highly knowledgeable Project Managers, Designers, Wiremen and assemblers who work together with a quality objective. Redundant quality checks are incorporated throughout the design and manufacturing process, from design to fabrication to programming to integration to project management to commissioning - HMC makes sure that every step is of the highest quality workmanship and of the highest quality components.
Our panel shop is located in Cypress just out side Houston, Texas. We have 7500 sq. dedicated to custom control panel projects. We have created a work environment that supports creativity and provides the type atmospher needed to concentrate on details and colaborate. Our shop also includes a segregated work area to be utilized by our clients personnel when programming and testing.

Testing
All panels fabricated by HMC undergo a detailed, documented Panel Checkout Procedure developed specifically for each panel. To assure that your panel matches its specifications perfectly, we have a 65 point QA checklist and every control panel is hot tested before delivery. All PLC output points and hardwired circuits are hot verified. All high voltage circuits are checked for continuity and ground faults.
